Chapter 102. We Understood  Each Other

Zhang Jing originally planned to go back to study. According to the plan, he had already made time to accompany Du Yan to deal with Zhao Yuqi’s affairs. The rest of the time has to make up for what he didn’t finish in the morning.

“I still have questions to do, won’t watch it.” Zhang Jing directly rejected Du Yan’s suggestion.

Du Yan was a little disappointed, and looked at Shi An again: “What about you? Are you going to help Tan Ayi too?”

Shi An shook his head and said: “No, it just so happens that my mama doesn’t need help today, so I don’t have anything to do later.”

Of course, watching a martial arts series with friends is much more interesting than watching it alone. Du Yan was delighted when he heard this and pulled Shi An to walk into the yard.

“Wait.” Zhang Jing said: “I remembered it wrongly. I finished that set of questions last night. I want to watch it too.”

When Du Yan heard Zhang Jing change his words, he also mocked him: “It’s rare for you to remember things wrongly.”

Zhang Jing did not argue with him, and the three of them went into Du Yan’s room together.

Zhang Jing and Shi An had been to Du Yan’s room countless times and were very familiar with it. They were not shy, and one brought drinks, the other dragged chairs, with clear division of labor, quickly completed the preparations.

The color TV in Du Yan’s room was a discarded one from the living room. It’s 21 inches, and although it’s not big, it’s more than enough to be placed in the room to occasionally watch sports or TV series.

Everything is ready, and the wonderful weekend is about to begin.

As soon as the picture on TV appeared, Du Yan felt something was wrong. He asked: “Is this a pirated version? Why doesn’t it even have the opening theme?”

Shi An shook his head: “I always watch from the middle, so I don’t know what’s going on.”

Not to mention Zhang Jing, a good student who was obsessed with studying and doing questions all day long, and had never watched this series.

The lack of the theme song didn’t have much of an impact, Du Yan continued to watch, but the more he watched, the more he felt something was wrong. The background on TV was crudely made, the actors in ancient costumes had awkward acting, and most importantly, Du Yan didn’t even know these people.

Du Yan felt very unhappy. He was looking forward to watching this martial arts series, but it turned out to be a mismatch. But it’s not quite right to say that it’s a mismatch because the actors on TV with awkward acting skills called each other by the names of the protagonists in the martial arts series.

Du Yan scratched his head and said: “Lin Hu is such an unreliable guy. He was fooled even when renting a martial arts series. He rented a fake and inferior product. I will definitely make fun of him tomorrow.”

Before Du Yan finished speaking, the plot on TV showed a shocking development. A man and a woman in ancient costumes were fighting in the woods, and suddenly they hugged each other and rolled around, pulling each other’s clothes as they rolled around.

“…” Du Yan was completely stunned by this unexpected change. He didn’t realize what was happening for a moment and just stared at the incredible scene.

In the blink of an eye, the ancient costumed woman on the TV was left with only a small bellyband. Du Yan was dumbfounded and muttered: “That’s not right. What’s going on?”

Seeing the man in ancient costumes grabbing the thin rope on the bellyband and about to exert force, at this critical moment, Du Yan’s eyes went dark, and his vision was completely blocked.

Du Yan was stunned for a moment before realizing that someone had blocked his sight. The smell was very familiar, so Du Yan raised his hand to pull him.

Unexpectedly, Zhang Jing was surprisingly strong at this time, and Du Yan had to use a lot of strength to pull his hand down.

“Zhang Jing, what are you doing!” Du Yan turned around and questioned Zhang Jing. He was not disappointed because he missed the important scene, but he felt baffled.

Zhang Jing’s expression didn’t change much, and he said calmly: “Not suitable for children.”

Du Yan said: “You and I are of the same age. I am a child, but you are possibly an adult. You covered my eyes, and you are watching so earnestly with your eyes open?”

The tips of Zhang Jing’s ears turned red, and he turned his eyes away: “Who watched it? Don’t talk nonsense, I didn’t watch it.”

Du Yan was sharp-eyed and noticed Zhang Jing’s red ears at a glance. He was about to laugh at him when he suddenly remembered that there was a more introverted and shy Shi An beside him.

Du Yan’s eyes turned, and he felt that teasing Shi An would definitely be more effective than teasing Zhang Jing at this time. He immediately changed his target and looked at Shi An in the other direction.

Unexpectedly, Shi An neither turned away nor blushed but stared at the TV blankly, looking quite serious.

Du Yan was very surprised: “I can’t tell, Shi An, you look very experienced, how can you be so calm in such a situation? When did you secretly watch it without telling us?”

Shi An shuddered, as if he was startled by Du Yan’s words, and suddenly came to his senses. His fair face instantly turned red, and he hurriedly pressed the remote control but accidentally turned up the volume to the maximum.

The two people on TV were fighting to the point of toxication, and the awkward sound suddenly resounded throughout the room.

“!” Du Yan reacted very quickly, snatched the remote control, and turned off the TV, but it was too late.

“Xiao Yan, what are you watching?”

Du Yan’s whole body was stiff, and he even wanted to escape by burrowing into the quilt. However, the matter was a foregone conclusion, and the voice coming from behind him was definitely not an illusion.

Du Yan’s hair stood on end. He turned around stiffly and saw his Yeye standing at the door.

It’s over!

Du Yan thought to himself what his behavior was, gathering together to watch an unhealthy movie and getting caught red-handed. If he said it was an accident and he didn’t do it on purpose, even if he had a mouth full of ulcer after explaining, his Yeye probably wouldn’t believe it.

It’s all Lin Hu’s fault. He must block him in the alley tomorrow and give him a good beating. If he hadn’t ridden his bicycle away, none of these embarrassing things would have happened.

However, Du Yan now thought that these things could not change the current situation. The most urgent thing was how to explain to his Yeye everything that happened.

Fortunately, Grandpa Du is in the education field and will not scold children without reason when something happens.

He called the three children to sit in the yard, and first looked at Du Yan: “Tell me, what’s going on?”

“…” Du Yan secretly glanced at Zhang Jing and received a comforting look.

Grandpa Du saw that the three children seemed to be a little afraid to speak, so he smiled and said: “It is normal for you to be curious about sexuality at your age. But you should not learn about it in this way, but through a more scientific and systematic way, such as books on physiological health…”

Du Yan saw that his Yeye seemed to be about to start a long speech again. If he didn’t explain it, his Yeye might really find a bunch of physiological health books for him to read.

Du Yan quickly spoke up: “Yeye, it’s really not like that. Please listen to my explanation.”

Du Yan felt that words alone were not convincing, so he went back to his room and took out the box containing the DVD.

He handed the box to his Yeye and explained: “Wasn’t this TV series aired a while ago? I saw this set at Lin Hu’s place and brought it back to watch. Who would have thought that it would contain such content?”

Grandpa Du was a little surprised and said: “You have never had a good relationship with the kid from the Lin family. How could he agree to lend you the DVD? Your statement is a little untenable.”

There was no need for Du Yan to wink, Zhang Jing stood up and explained the whole story.

Zhang Jing’s credibility with Grandpa Du was much better than Du Yan’s. Once he opened his mouth, Grandpa Du stopped questioning him and basically believed that this was just an accident.

A storm has been resolved, but it is unknown whether young boys of this age can remain as calm as they appear to be after suddenly seeing such a shocking scene.

At least on the next morning, before six o’clock, Zhang Jing suddenly sat up from the bed.

The pants felt cold and sticky. Zhang Jing was not the kind of young man who knew nothing about physiological health. He knew what was wrong with him. He also knew that in the process of transitioning from childhood to adolescence, he would one day experience such a scene.

However, he still sat on the bed in a daze for a long time because the scene seemed a little different from what he had expected.

Zhang Jing had a dream last night because of the flesh-and-blood entanglement scenes he had accidentally seen on TV the day before, it was natural for him to have such dreams.

But Zhang Jing felt that there seemed to be something different in his dream. He sat on the bed and pondered for a while, trying hard to recall the hazy dream.

He always felt that there was something wrong with the person who appeared in the dream, but he couldn’t come to a conclusion after thinking for a long time.

Zhang Jing looked out the window and found that it was already dawn. He had almost forgotten what happened in his dream. It was futile to think about it anymore. He decided to deal with the embarrassing situation in front of him.

Zhang Jing walked out of the room, filled a basin with water, and squatted in the yard to rub his pants.

Not long after, there was movement in the west wing. The door was opened, and a person sneaked out.

Shi An quietly closed the door, holding a pair of shorts in his hand. When he turned around, he saw Zhang Jing, and he was stunned on the spot, somewhat at a loss.

Zhang Jing was very calm. He nodded to Shi An and continued to wash clothes.

Shi An was a little embarrassed at first, but because Zhang Jing’s attitude was so calm, he quickly calmed down. He silently filled a basin with water and squatted in the yard to wash his shorts.

The two of them looked at each other in silence and finished washing the clothes very quickly.

When Zhang Jing was hanging clothes on the clothesline, he suddenly felt a slight pain on his head, as if he was hit by something.

He subconsciously looked up, and what caught his eye was Du Yan’s mischievous smile.

Du Yan lay on the wall, looking at Zhang Jing and Shi An standing in the yard, and laughing with ill intention: “Oho, you got up early in the morning to wash your pants. The martial arts movie yesterday was quite exciting, right? Still wanting more? I say you two are so impure.”

Zhang Jing looked at Du Yan’s carefree look and got angry. He glared at him and said: “You are pure, so why do you get up so early? For someone like you who oversleeps every day and needs me to pull the quilt off for you before going to school, could you get up so early without some special circumstances?”

Du Yan knew that he couldn’t hide anything from Zhang Jing. He didn’t argue but smiled awkwardly and said: “Hehe, isn’t this a sign of everyone growing up? We understand each other, we understand each other.”

Shi An was caught by Du Yan and was a little panicked, but after hearing the conversation between Du Yan and Zhang Jing, he calmed down.

The three of them just stared at each other for a long time and finally laughed.

The morning sun shines on the three young men, and everything was just perfect.
