Chapter 103. Shi An?
Arc 4 : Realistc World Movie Nightmare.
The ignorant junior high school life passed smoothly, and the three friends were promoted to high school.
Before the high school entrance exam, Shi An’s side had an accident. Shi An’s mother suggested that Shi An give up further studies and choose to go to a vocational high school so that he could start working and earn money as soon as possible.
Fortunately, under the persuasion of Zhang Jing, Du Yan and the adults of the two families, Shi An’s mother gave up this unreliable idea and agreed to let Shi An continue to study in high school.
In the last year of junior high school, Zhang Jing, who had always been ranked first in the grade, took on the responsibility of tutoring Du Yan and Shi An.
The grades of Du Yan and Shi An had always been hovering in the middle. Du Yan’s problem was that his mind was too distracted and he couldn’t concentrate on his studies; and Shi An spent most of his time helping his mother with things.
Fortunately, both of them were quite smart, and under Zhang Jing’s supervision, they were successfully admitted to the best high school in the city.
The three of them continued to be classmates and started their high school life.
The high school they attended was quite far from home. It took at least an hour to drive there.
Considering the tight academic schedule in high school, it was not cost-effective to waste a lot of time on the road, so Du Yan, Zhang Jing, and Shi An decided to start their boarding life.
As soon as the high school entrance examination results came out, Zhang Jing watched attentively his father and made sure that Du Yan and he would be assigned to the same class and the same dormitory.
Considering Shi An’s introverted personality, Zhang Jing also took care of this childhood friend. So, Du Yan, Zhang Jing, and Shi An were assigned to the same dormitory.
Shi An’s mother recently changed jobs and was no longer as financially constrained as before, but was just busier. She finally stopped demanding to send Shi An to report at school and instead asked Shi An to report at the high school with his friends.
The high school dormitory building was newly built in the past two years, and the conditions were very good. A quadruple room with a bed above and a desk below, and a bathroom with hot water supplied regularly at night. Anyway, it was much better than Du Yan and Zhang Jing imagined.
What’s even more fortunate was that when the freshmen of this year were assigned to their dormitory, there was no one else assigned there, so there were only three people living in their dormitory.
For someone like Zhang Jing, who was somewhat eccentric and had a strong sense of territory, he could fully accept living with Du Yan. He was able to endure Shi An because of the friendship they had since childhood, but if a stranger came, it would probably take him a long time to adapt.
However, now there were familiar people in the dormitory, which made him feel good.
Zhang Jing and Du Yan chose the bed on the left, where their beds were right next to each other, while Shi An chose the bed opposite Du Yan.
Perhaps it was because it was the first time for the three of them to be away from home and live in the same dormitory. Even Zhang Jing, who was extremely stable, was a little excited.
After turning off the lights, the trio chatted until almost twelve o’clock, and then fell asleep with a sense of not fully expressing themselves.
Before going to bed, Zhang Jing and Du Yan discussed their sleeping directions. In the end, they decided that sleeping with feet facing each other’s head was not a good idea, so they fell asleep head to head.
Perhaps it was because he was in an unfamiliar environment, or perhaps he was too excited at night, Zhang Jing did not sleep very well. Around midnight, he seemed to hear someone calling ‘Zhang Jing’ in a daze.
He was very familiar with that voice. It was clearly Du Yan’s voice. Even though his consciousness was still a little fuzzy, Zhang Jing sat up immediately.
He looked around, and everything in front of him seemed strange. Only then did he realize that he was in the dormitory. Zhang Jing thought of the sound he had just heard, so he turned around to look and found that Du Yan was sleeping soundly. It turned out that he was just talking in his sleep.
The moonlight tonight was very bright. The curtains were not closed, and the moonlight fell on the ground, shining brightly. Although there was no light in the room, Zhang Jing could see everything clearly under the moonlight after getting used to it.
Although it was already September, it was unexpectedly hot today.
Before going to bed, Du Yan felt too hot and took off his shirt, sleeping in only a pair of shorts.
His sleeping posture was extremely dishonest, and now he had already thrown the blanket to one side. Zhang Jing sighed helplessly, leaning over to pull the blanket over Du Yan.
However, his hand accidentally touched Du Yan’s shoulder. The feeling in the palm of his hand was smooth and delicate, and the warm skin was so elastic that one would like to touch it for a while longer.
Realizing this thought, Zhang Jing suddenly retracted his hand. He looked at Du Yan in disbelief, not understanding why he had such a strange thought about Du Yan, who was of the same gender.
As he looked at Du Yan, Zhang Jing felt that Du Yan’s shoulder lines were very nice, and the shape of his collarbone was just right. Everything about him seemed to be just as he exactly wanted.
Zhang Jing was stunned. He suddenly felt that the scene in front of him was somewhat familiar. Perhaps it was because the scene was so quiet, he soon realized why he felt like he had seen it before.
That night more than a year ago, it was also in darkness, in that chaotic and ambiguous dream. The person he was entangled with seemed to have this collarbone and this shoulder line.
This familiar feeling made Zhang Jing reach out his hand to confirm something as if he was obsessed.
His hand had just landed on Du Yan’s shoulder, and it hadn’t stayed there for long. Du Yan suddenly snorted with some impatience and knocked Zhang Jing’s hand away with one hand.
Zhang Jing finally came back to his senses from his obsessed state. He was in a panic, his heartbeat accelerated to the extreme, and he even held his breath and looked at Du Yan nervously.
Fortunately, Du Yan was still sleeping soundly. He just turned over.
Zhang Jing didn’t dare to do anything more. He raised his hand and pulled up the blanket that Du Yan had kicked aside and covered him tightly with it, then fell back on his bed.
He covered his head with a blanket, trying not to think about what had just happened, and tried to fall asleep. However, after tossing and turning, Zhang Jing was still completely sleepless and could only hear his own heartbeat that was getting louder and louder.
Just when Zhang Jing’s mind was filled with chaotic and disorganized thoughts and he couldn’t fall asleep, he suddenly heard movement on the bed opposite him.
Zhang Jing slightly opened his eyes and found that it was Shi An, who had climbed out of bed and entered the bathroom. He then closed his eyes and continued to try to fall asleep.
However, after a while, Zhang Jing felt something was wrong. After Shi An came out of the bathroom, he did not hear him climb onto the bed.
Zhang Jing was a little confused, so he opened his eyes and looked over.
The scene in front of him surprised Zhang Jing. Shi An stood very close to Du Yan’s bed. He just stared at the sleeping Du Yan for a long time without moving.
Zhang Jing didn’t say anything but just slowed down his breathing and paid close attention to Shi An’s actions.
Shi An just stood there and looked at Du Yan for a long time, and finally, as if he had made up his mind, he reached out his hand as if he wanted to touch Du Yan’s face.
Zhang Jing frowned slightly, without making a sound, suddenly turned over and then sat up at once.
Zhang Jing pretended to have just woken up. When he rubbed his eyes and looked over, Shi An was already some distance away from Du Yan’s bed.
He opened his mouth and asked softly: “Shi An? Are you still awake?”
In the darkness, Zhang Jing couldn’t see Shi An’s expression, he only heard him whisper: “I got up to go to the bathroom.”
Zhang Jing said: “Are you done? I’ll go then.”
“Um.”
When Zhang Jing came out of the bathroom, everything had returned to normal. Except for the clear moonlight, no one knew what had just happened.
Zhang Jing walked to the window, raised his hand and pulled up the curtain tightly, then climbed onto his bed and fell down.

The next morning, Du Yan was very surprised when he sat up.
Because he was the first person to wake up in the dormitory, Du Yan jumped off the bed, put on his clothes, and ran to the bathroom to wash up.
When he came out, he found Zhang Jing and Shi An were still asleep.
Du Yan walked to Zhang Jing’s bed and called softly: “Zhang Xiao Jing.”
The only response he got was the sound of his regular breathing. Du Yan looked at Zhang Jing’s sleeping face and suddenly smiled: “This is a rare opportunity. This is the first time I’m awake while Zhang Jing is asleep.”
Du Yan walked to his desk and took out a water-based marker. Although he was playing a prank, he still knew how to act in moderation. This water-based marker can be washed clean with water, so there is no need to worry about it.
Du Yan started drawing directly on Zhang Jing’s face, adding wrinkles on his forehead and eye bags under his eyes.
“This is the real little old man.” Du Yan looked at his masterpiece, thought for a moment, and then drew a mustache on Zhang Jing’s lips.
When he was about to put the last stroke, he suddenly heard a noise behind him. Du Yan felt guilty, and his hand trembled, and the cold marker fell heavily on Zhang Jing’s lips.
He was startled and quickly put his hands behind his back, pretending nothing had happened.
Zhang Jing frowned slightly, touched his lips, and then opened his eyes.
At first, he was a little confused, but when he saw the person standing in front of him clearly, he almost jumped up and sat up suddenly: “What are you doing?”
Du Yan was stunned, wondering why Zhang Jing was so excited. There was no mirror. Could it be that he discovered his prank so quickly?
He smiled guiltily and changed the subject: “Well, nothing much, I’ll go buy you breakfast first, see you in the cafeteria!”
After saying that, Du Yan fled, leaving Zhang Jing sitting on the bed, touching his lips in disbelief.
