Song Min was buying vegetables at the market. Before the mission still hadn’t failed, in order to maintain his character, he tried his best to be an all-round housekeeper. He got up at 4:30 every morning to make breakfast, ran downstairs to get the day’s newspaper, came back to wake up Huang Dan, had a quick meal at noon, and prepared dinner for Huang Dan in the evening, day after day.
Now that Song Min lives alone, he doesn’t care about anything. He no longer cleans the house every day. He doesn’t clean up fruit peels that fall on the floor immediately. He piles up several pieces of clothes and throws them into the washing machine together. The biggest change is that his biological clock has become irregular.
Before, Song Min worked very hard for thirty years. Suddenly he is idle. Without the backbone, his life became a puddle. He went to bed early at night but could not fall asleep. He could not fall asleep until three or four in the morning, and had to sleep until noon the next day. He was too lazy to wash the pots and cook, so he just ate some instant noodles.
This time, the instant noodles at home were finished, so Song Min went out to buy some. He came to the vegetable market on a whim because he wanted to eat some vegetables and also wanted to make some soup.
The vendors in the vegetable market all know Song Min. He looks like a famous star and comes to buy vegetables every day. He is a very serious person and is very methodical in his behavior. He does things the way they should be done. For example, the total cost of the vegetables is 20.1 yuan, and usually others would ask to round up, but he would never bring it up.
The vegetable vendor offered to pay one mao less, or give him a change of less than one yuan, hoping that he would pay more attention to his business next time. After all, there are rows of stalls in the vegetable market, and the vegetables are almost the same no matter which one you go to. Why should he buy from your stall? There must be a reason.
But Song Min would still give all the money, it would be hard for him not to remember it.
When the enthusiastic Da Jie saw Song Min coming to her side, she gave him a plastic basket and greeted him with a smile, “Da Xiongdi, I haven’t seen you for many days. I thought you had moved away.”
Song Min picked a few tomatoes and put them in the basket.
Da Jie pointed to the tomatoes placed elsewhere. They looked good-looking, rosy in color, and even in size. Each one had a small label on it, “They are imported here.”
Song Min used to be very particular about the ingredients he bought in order to ensure the quality of Huang Dan’s diet. In order to avoid any accidents during the mission, he even instilled in him the idea that he should not eat from roadside stalls, eat junk food, or drink carbonated drinks when he was very young. Now he is very casual and does not have those requirements for the ingredients. He just wants to make do with anything that is edible.
As for Huang Dan, whether he was cold or hot, thirsty or hungry, someone would take care of him, and it was none of Song Min’s business.
Da Jie was quite surprised, guessing that Da Xiongdi was having financial difficulties. She wanted to say something, but when she saw the girl coming over, she immediately shouted, “What vegetables do you want to buy, Xiao Mei?”
The girl glanced at Song Min in front of the vegetable stall, her footsteps paused, and she walked over.
Da Jie saw this scene. Everyone has been young, so it is understandable. She smiled and gave the girl a basket for picking vegetables, “These are all fresh vegetables, take a look.” She was lying with her eyes open, and some of the vegetables were shriveled.
Song Min looked at the green vegetables and was about to pick up a few handfuls and buy a piece of tofu to make some soup when he noticed that Da Jie suddenly looked behind him with her eyes wide open, without even blinking, awfully stunned. His eyelids twitched.
The noise around them quieted down a bit, and Song Min handed the basket to Da Jie, “Please calculate.”
Da Jie exclaimed, and looked at the vegetable basket after she reacted. She pulled the basket for vegetables while looking behind Song Min, her face full of relish.
Wei Shijin stood casually between the girl and Song Min. He lowered his head, his eyes dark and without any light.
Song Min didn’t look at him.
The vegetable market was in chaos and no one noticed that Wei Shijin’s expression was wrong, not even Da Jie and the girl who was closest to him.
At this critical moment, Da Jie said, “Da Xiongdi, your son is so handsome.”
Wei Shijin raised his eyelids, he was smiling, but there was no smile in his eyes, “Son?”
The smile on Da Jie’s face froze instantly, and she swallowed back all the words that were about to come out of her mouth.
Da Xiongdi looks good and many people pay attention to him. They guess how old he is, whether he is married or not, whether he lives alone with his children, and some people even want to find a match for him.
One time, Da Xiongdi said that he had a son, and later the news spread, and everyone knew about it. Although they were surprised, it couldn’t change anything.
Isn’t it the one in front?
The atmosphere in front of the stall was very weird. One couldn’t tell what was wrong, but it was just very cautious. Girls stopped buying vegetables and stopped looking at handsome guys. They instinctively stayed away from there, and Da Jie also became mute.
Song Min asked Da Jie to calculate the cost of vegetables for him, “My son is abroad.”
Da Jie laughed quickly and said, “Look at my poor eyesight. Da Xiongdi, who is this?”
Song Min said, “How much?”
Da Jie quickly put the remaining vegetables on the electronic scale one by one. She pressed the total and said it was 28.70 yuan, “Forget about 7 mao.”
When Song Min felt his pocket, he realized he didn’t have his wallet with him, so he took out his phone and paid with WeChat.
Wei Shijin was surrounded by many young men, who paid by credit card. He had never seen anyone pay with WeChat, so he looked at it twice without saying anything.
Song Min caught it and blocked it with his hand so that he couldn’t see it.
Wei Shijin took Song Min’s mobile phone and asked, “Where is the scan?”
Song Min said, “Use your own phone to study it.”
Wei Shijin whispered in his ear, “Da Shu, why don’t you ask me where I came from?”
Song Min said, “This is a vegetable market.”
Wei Shijin smiled elegantly, his eyes cold, “If it weren’t for the vegetable market, Da Shu, do you think you could still talk to me like this?”
Song Min frowned, “Da Jie?”
Da Jie came back to her senses and quickly gave Song Min a handful of green onions and coriander, and asked him if he wanted some chili peppers.
Song Min shook his head and carried a bag of vegetables to the place where the chickens were sold.
Wei Shijin’s anger was mostly diluted by the smell of chicken shit. The veins on his forehead popped, and he took a few steps back and waited at the exit.
Song Min didn’t plan to buy a chicken. He just wanted Wei Shijin to calm down by the smell of chicken shit.
Wei Shijin called the man and said, “You are standing here without buying anything. Da Shu, are you wearing out my patience?”
Song Min said, “I’m choosing a chicken.”
Wei Shijin listened to the beeping sound, his eyes darkened, and he held his breath and strode in.
Song Min suddenly looked up at him.
Wei Shijin was stunned. He took a breath subconsciously, but was choked by the smell and his face turned pale.
The vegetable market was not far from the community. Song Min walked there, but when he returned, he was pulled into Wei Shijin’s car.
Wei Shijin smelled the windbreaker, took it off and threw it in the back seat, then smelled the man’s neck.
Song Min pushed his head away.
Wei Shijin looked closely and found that the man’s face was a little yellow. It was not on the plane. It has only been a few days. What is he doing back here?
Song Min saw the young man’s doubts, he just didn’t eat much.
Wei Shijin tried to kiss the man, but was pushed away again. He clamped the man’s hand, pressed him down on the seat and asked, “Why don’t you come?”
Song Min looked calm, “I’m buying groceries.”
In Wei Shijin’s eyes, this scene was like a dead pig that is not afraid of being scalded by boiling water and has no consciousness. A living person wants to live as a dead person, regardless of his life. It doesn’t matter. He bit the man’s face, and when he saw the man’s muscles tense up, he laughed, at least know the pain.
“When can’t you buy groceries? Da Shu, your excuse is really bad.”
There was blood on Song Min’s face. He stretched out his hand to wipe it away, “Are you a dog?”
Wei Shijin laughed in anger, “Da Shu said I am a dog, then I will be a dog for you to see.”
The wound on Song Min’s face was bitten again. He heard the young man swallowing. He grabbed the man’s hair and pulled it back.
The pain from the wound intensified, and Song Min’s eyes turned red physiologically. He raised his eyelids and met a pair of peach blossom eyes covered with lust.
Wei Shijin licked his lips, the blood in his body was boiling. He tried his best to restrain himself and said in a hoarse voice, “Da Shu, do you think I am a human or a dog?”
Song Min took a tissue and wiped the wound, his jaw line stern, “It depends on whether you want to be a human or a dog.”
Wei Shijin’s breath, mixed with sweet and fishy smell, sprayed on the man’s face, “It’s tiring to talk to you in a roundabout way.”
Song Min said, “When you reach my age, you will be about the same.”
Wei Shijin grabbed the man’s hand that was wiping the wound, put his lips on it, and wiped away the blood with the tip of his tongue, “What age? In my heart, you are still in your prime.”
Song Min pretended not to hear.
Wei Shi suddenly said, “Da Shu, can I borrow your handkerchief?”
Song Min knew what he wanted to do, “No.”
The shirt was full of the scent of laundry detergent, and Song Min still felt uncomfortable wearing it.
Wei Shijin said ambiguously, “Then I can only ask Da Shu to help me personally. I couldn’t ask for more.”
Song Min glanced coldly, “Wei Shijin.”
Wei Shijin locked the car door, “You don’t give me a handkerchief, and you don’t help me, Da Shu. It will take me at least an hour to release.”
A handkerchief was thrown over.
Wei Shijin brought it to his nose and sniffed it. It smelled like the man, “Actually, I want Da Shu more than the handkerchief.”
The temperature in the car rose, the air became humid and sticky, and heavy breathing sounds were heard one after another.
Song Min closed his eyes, trying to endure something. After a while, he looked at his watch. The shock in his eyes became more obvious as time went by.
Wei Shijin suddenly sighed, “Da Shu, I can’t do anything else.”
Song Min frowned, the air in the car made him feel sick, “Let me out of the car, you go find someone to handle it.”
Wei Shijin half-squinted his eyes and said, “Da Shu wants me to go whoring? I have mysophobia.”
Song Min heard it as if it were a joke, but he didn’t laugh, “Are you a germaphobe?”
Wei Shijin smiled at him, “In terms of sex, yes.”
Song Min didn’t notice.
Wei Shijin’s mouth was dry and he said in distress, “Da Shu, what should I do now? I can’t release it, and the longer it goes, the harder it gets.”
Song Min said, “Then you should call 120 for yourself.”
Wei Shijin raised his eyebrows and said, “Okay, we will be taken to the hospital together when the time comes.”
Song Min downloaded a movie with a cold face, using up the last bit of data.
Wei Shijin glanced at it out of respect and didn’t react at all, “This is useless to me.”
Song Min turned off the video, and the sounds disappeared. His hand was grabbed and pulled over, and the young man’s voice was heard above his head, “Da Shu, help me.”
In less than ten minutes, Wei Shijin came. He leaned against the back of the seat, panting, his eyes full of signs of dissatisfaction.
Song Min wiped his hands with a tissue, the corners of his lips stretched into a straight line.
Wei Shijin smoothed away the sweaty hair from his forehead, smiled frivolously, and said vulgarly, “Stop wiping it, the shooter will not get pregnant.”
Song Min threw the tissue under the seat, and his hands became hot and red from wiping them, “Aren’t you leaving yet?”
Wei Shijin said to wait a moment, “I just came and my brain is still a little short of oxygen. Let me take a break.”
Song Min asked him to open the car window, and the turbid air in the car was gradually swept away by the wind, carrying it all over the street.
Wei Shijin fastened his seat belt, drove into the community, followed the man upstairs and into the house, and no one could stop him.
It is impossible for Song Min to change the locks or move, unless he is no longer in this world, which is even more impossible. So now he can only take one step at a time. Besides, he has nothing else but a body, which is not his own.
After changing his shoes, Song Min carried the vegetables to the kitchen and washed his hands first.
Wei Shijin took the opportunity to enter the bedroom. He saw several medicine bottles on the table. He frowned and asked the man who came in, “Da Shu, are you taking sleeping pills?”
Song Min took the medicine bottle from his hand and put it back where it belongs, “What I take is my business.”
Wei Shijin crossed his arms and said, “Sleeping pills can also kill people.”
Song Min did not respond. He would control the dosage of sleeping pills and not take them often. He would only take a few pills occasionally to help himself fall asleep as soon as possible.
According to the guardian, it would be difficult for Song Min to commit suicide in this body, and he would not do that.
Even when he had nothing, Song Min did not give up on life. That was the worst time. The current situation is far from comparable.
Wei Shijin glanced at the bedroom. The curtains were drawn so tightly in broad daylight, which made him feel depressing and stuffy. His gaze returned to the man’s face.
“Da Shu, you are now living the life of an elderly widower. You don’t live in a nursing home, but live alone at home. No one is around you. If you get sick or fall down, no one will know. That would be very miserable. Huang Dan and Chen Yue are both abroad, very far away. If something happens, they can’t rush to your side immediately. As the saying goes, children will eventually grow up and have their own lives.”
After listening to a long speech, Song Min went to the refrigerator in silence to continue putting the vegetables in.
Wei Shijin walked out with lazy steps, his tone was the same, and it was hard to tell how sincere he was, “Why don’t you follow me?”
Song Min placed the broccoli on the second layer.
Wei Shijin leaned against the refrigerator, “Da Shu, yes or no, it’s just one of the two words at most.”
Song Min took out the expired bread and threw it into the trash can, “No.”
Wei Shijin patted the non-existent dust on his pants, “No?”
There was a figure in Song Min’s pupils, which kept getting bigger. He looked at the face that was almost approaching.
Wei Shijin laughed jokingly, “Da Shu, are you waiting for me to kiss you?”
The wound on Song Min’s face hurt slightly.
At this moment, Wei Shijin’s cell phone rang. He glanced at the man, stood up and answered the phone, “What’s the matter?”
Zhang Pei shouted over, “Where are you? I saw your Jie is back!”
Wei Shijin frowned, “My Jie? Isn’t she on a business trip? Are you sure you didn’t see it wrong?”
Zhang Pei’s tone was solemn, with a hint of schadenfreude, “I can see clearly with my two eyes that your Jie ran to the building where you live. She came to you as soon as she came back. It must be about something.”
Wei Shijin said, “Help me deal with it first, I’ll be back later.”
Zhang Pei was speechless, “How can I deal with this? My heart starts pounding when I see your Jie. When she looks at me, I feel as uncomfortable as if I have no clothes on. I can’t help you with this. You can handle it yourself.”
“I can’t leave here.”
Wei Shijin hung up the phone before Zhang Pei could speak.
A few minutes later, Zhang Pei called and yelled angrily, “Shit! Your Jie called me and told me to tell you that if you can’t get back within half an hour, she will tell my old man about me, keeping a man.”
“Xiongdi, you won’t stand by and watch me die, right? Even if you are sleeping with Da Shu right now, you have to pull yourself out. Once you send your Jie away, you can go back to play. You can play as long as you want. Even if you play until tomorrow, no one will bother you.”
Wei Shijin’s temples were swollen. He raised his hand to press them and said to the man on the sofa, “Da Shu, I have something urgent to deal with at home. I have to go.”
Song Min said, “Close the door for me.”
Wei Shijin leaned over, propped his hands on the back of the sofa and said, “Are you in such a hurry for me to leave?”
Song Min was in a hurry to cook.
Wei Shijin pressed the man down on the sofa, “Da Shu, you haven’t given me an explanation for breaking the promise yet. Do you want to pretend that nothing happened?”
Song Min glanced at the wall clock, “I didn’t promise.”
“Are you arguing with me about words?”
Wei Shijin put his hands into the man’s hair, “If I remember correctly, you never refused
Song Min said, “You remembered it wrong.”
Wei Shijin took his hand down and touched the white hair on the man’s temples, “Did you remember it wrongly? Da Shu, it’s obviously you who are quibbling.”
Song Min said bluntly, “If you didn’t understand what I said just now, I’ll say it again, I don’t have that kind of intention towards you.”
Wei Shijin smiled, “Da Shu, that’s because we haven’t known each other for a long time, so take your time.”
Song Min ,“……”
The cell phone in Wei Shijin’s pocket rang again. He took it out, turned it off, put it back, and instantly pressed his lips to the man’s.
Before Song Min could bite, the people retreated.
Not long after Wei Shijin left, the landline in the living room rang. Huang Dan was the only person who would call this number. Song Min came out of the kitchen to answer the phone.
Huang Dan asked on the other end, “Wei Shijin of the Wei family looked for Chen Yue and asked about us. He didn’t say anything, but except for our secrets, the other party can find out everything else.”
“Wei Shijin’s Jiejie came to see Chen Yue yesterday. It seems that she knows about her Didi and you. She may come to see you in person. I don’t know what she is thinking. You should be prepared.”
Song Min knew the purpose of Huang Dan’s call and suddenly felt a little ridiculed. He had been trying every means to prevent Huang Dan from getting involved in the ways of the world over the years. He did not teach him anything when he was ignorant and even deliberately prevented him from understanding, making him think that he should ignore it and not take it seriously. However, Chen Yue took advantage of the opportunity and taught him all those things.
“Do you blame me?”
Although the question was asked abruptly, Huang Dan understood it immediately. He said he doesn’t, “Time can prove many things. This is what Chen Yue told me. I believe it now. You can also try to believe it.”
Song Min said, “If Chen Yue treats you badly, just come back. I have deposited all your salary into your card, and I haven’t spent a penny. If you don’t have enough living expenses, I can ask my guardian for more. If you come back, your quality of life will be the same as before, and I will have no problem supporting you.”
Huang Dan said, “He won’t treat me badly.”
Song Min said, “Life is full of twists and turns, and there are many crossroads. Who knows what will happen at the next crossroads? The most important thing is to arrange a retreat for yourself, so that you don’t end up with no way forward and no way back.”
Huang Dan frowned. Song Min still had no confidence in the future. He continued the previous topic, “Chen Yue said that even if he added twenty Liu Fengs, they would not be a match for Wei Shijin. Don’t confront him head-on. You won’t be able to win.”
Song Min said, “I got Wei Shijin’s detailed information from my guardian. The film and television company and the restaurant are just a cover. He is in the arms business, which the Wei family doesn’t know.”
Huang Dan asked, “You didn’t accept any mission, did you?”
Song Min said not yet.
Huang Dan breathed a sigh of relief. Song Min would not hide anything from him. “Don’t let yourself suffer any loss.”
As a novice in relationships, Huang Dan was taught everything by Chen Yue. He thought about it carefully, discussed emotional issues with a psychologist, and consulted Mr. System.
Huang Dan felt that Song Min was very lonely and also wanted someone to accompany him, but he was afraid of being betrayed again and felt extremely insecure. That relationship was his first love, he gave a lot, he fell in love first, his life revolved around that person, he gave the other person everything he could, but in the end he was kicked out of the other person’s world and became penniless. With a change of place, maybe he will regain his confidence and look forward to the future.
Even if that doesn’t work, a pool of stagnant water should be able to produce a few bubbles.
There was something under Song Min’s butt. He reached out to touch it, and threw the half-pack of cigarettes he found on the coffee table. The next moment, he threw it into the trash can, “Is the studio matter settled?”
Huang Dan said it was almost done, “Chen Yue helped me a lot. With him around, things that I thought would be troublesome were done with just a few words. If everything goes well, I will contact the interior company next month.”
Song Min asked, “Are there any difficulties with funding?”
Huang Dan said no, “Chen Yue solved it for me. Now everything is going according to plan. There are no problems.”
“I sent you the contact information of Liu Feng and Jiang Long. Please save it. I also sent you the phone numbers of the manager and director of Chen Yue’s branch. If you have any problem, you can contact them first.”
That mocking mentality reappeared, and Song Min had to admit that Huang Dan had changed a lot.
Huang Dan said, “You need to come out and see the sunlight.”
Song Min’s expression changed, “There is no sun, it’s cloudy all the time.”
Huang Dan said seriously, “You have to come out first.”
Song Min half closed his eyelids and said, “The sky is gloomy and it’s going to rain.”
Huang Dan said, “You didn’t come out.”
Song Min said, “I’m standing outside.”
The two of them were not talking about the same thing, but they both knew what each other meant. It was just that one intended to enlighten, while the other avoided it.
The next day was a sunny day. Song Min took the quilt out to dry in the sun and stuffed the sheets into the washing machine. He went to get a vacuum cleaner to clean the dust in the living room and the room. This was the first thorough cleaning after the mission failed.
It is difficult for most people to be diligent and self-disciplined, but it is very easy to be lazy and casual.
Song Min tied up all the garbage bags in the trash cans and brought them to the door, waiting to carry them downstairs later. When he turned around, a voice came from behind, “Da Shu, are you cleaning so early?”
The door closed quickly, and Wei Shijin’s pace was even faster. He pushed the door open with one hand, “Why are you running when you see me? That’s very rude.”
Song Min sneered, “You come here uninvited, and you want me to be polite?”
“So what’s the point? Good morning?”
Wei Shijin pinched the man’s face to prevent him from evading, “Da Shu, you look much better today than yesterday. It seems you slept well last night.”
Song Min’s face was solemn, “You don’t have a job?”
“I’m not busy today.”
Wei Shijin went to the kitchen to pour water as if he was entering his own home. He went back and talked with his Jie for more than half an hour yesterday. The conversation didn’t go very well, but they finally reached a consensus: you go your way and I go mine, and no one should interfere with each other.
Heaven makes a hole, and fixes it itself.
Wei Shijin drank a few sips of water, then he leaned against the table and lit a cigarette, “Da Shu, there’s an art exhibition around nine o’clock, come with me.”
Song Min frowned, “Art exhibition? I won’t go.”
Wei Shijin squinted his eyes and took a puff of cigarette, “That’s Mr. Liu’s last art exhibition before he died. There won’t be another one. An invitation is very valuable. Go change your clothes and we’ll talk on the way.”
The washing machine stopped and made a sound to indicate that it had ended. Song Min took out all the sheets and quilt covers that had been washed and hung them up on the railing to dry.
When Song Min finished drying the quilt cover and was about to dry the bed sheets, Wei Shijin suddenly came up to him.
The bed sheet in Song Min’s hand fell.
Wei Shijin stretched his head to look, “It fell on the grass. Wait a minute, I’ll make a phone call.”
He didn’t go down by himself, otherwise he would not be able to get in. It wouldn’t work if he took the key out, as soon as he went out, the man would immediately lock the door, so he asked the driver to pick it up and bring it up.
Song Min’s forehead twitched.
The driver quickly followed the instructions, picked up the bed sheet and went upstairs. Without looking or listening, he turned around and left after receiving the order.
Song Min noticed the sound and pace of the driver’s walking, and realized he was a trained man.
Wei Shijin was free today, so he told him his plans, showing rare patience, “We’ll go to the art exhibition in the morning, go fishing and eat farm food in the afternoon, and soak in the hot springs in the evening.”
“I’m not interested, so I won’t accompany you.”
Song Min is like a turtle. He was injured and almost died. Later, he shrank into his shell, hoping to rot slowly inside. No one should care about him and let him fend for himself. However, Wei Shijin insisted on pulling him out and letting him go out to breathe secretly, see the light, and feel the wind.
Wei Shijin turned a deaf ear and looked at his mobile phone, “It takes 40 minutes to drive from here to the gallery, assuming there’s no traffic. If there’s a traffic jam, it’ll take an hour. I calculated that we have to leave at 8 o’clock, so you still have less than 20 minutes to delay.”
Song Min also ignored it. He opened the balcony window and moved the flower pots out to bask in the sun.
Wei Shijin leaned against the glass door frame and looked at the half-squatting figure of the man. He was dressed very casually today, with glasses on his nose, and his hair in front of his forehead was not combed back, but let down casually. He looked much more restrained and gentle, but the eyes behind the lenses were still as sharp as usual.
Song Min grabbed the hand that stretched towards his face.
Wei Shijin restrained him with his backhand and rubbed the man’s wrist with his thumb a few times, “Da Shu, the white hair on your temples is natural, right? I’ve seen your photos. You looked like this five years ago, ten years ago.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he took his hand away and knelt down beside the man, “What kind of plant is this?”
Song Min said, “Sago Palm.”
Wei Shijin pushed up his glasses with a teasing look on his face, “The name is quite interesting. It’s neither a sago nor palm, yet it’s called sago palm.”
Song Min ,“……”
Wei Shijin pointed to a large green pot beside him, “What about this one?”
Song Min said, “Look for yourself.”
Wei Shijin could hear the man’s impatience, and he curled his lips in an ambiguous tone, “I can’t tell, Da Shu, tell me about it.”
Song Min felt like there was a giant fly next to his ear. He said coldly, “Yam.”
Wei Shijin asked, “What is yam?”
Song Min said, “It’s just sweet potatoes.”
Wei Shijin stared at the man’s lips, his eyes revealing his true feelings. He smiled ambiguously, “Da Shu knows so much.”
Song Min was wondering which drawer the electric mosquito swatter should be placed in.
Wei Shijin swiped the screen of his phone and said, “Da Shu, it’s 7:58 now. If you don’t change your clothes, I don’t mind carrying you downstairs like this.”
Song Min moved the last flowerpot to the railing. He ignored Wei Shijin and got up to wash his hands with soap at the sink. He prepared to pour himself a glass of water and then lie on the sofa to read a newspaper.
Just when Song Min sat on the sofa, thinking about cooking a dish or eating something casually for lunch, he heard Wei Shijin say it was eight o’clock. Along with that sentence, the atmosphere in the living room changed slightly, and a storm was about to come.
“We’re leaving.”
Wei Shijin put his phone in his trouser pocket. He walked over and pretended to carry Song Min. He smiled gently and said, “Cooperate, Da Shu. You can’t beat me. Don’t ask for trouble.”
Song Min waved the young man’s hand away and said sternly, “Wei Shijin, didn’t your family teach you to respect others?”
Wei Shijin tried to grab him again, and this time he grabbed him right in front of him. He smiled and said, “Da Shu, I gave you nearly twenty minutes, and you wore me out bit by bit. Now you turn around and say that I don’t respect people. How can you always be right?”
Song Min tried to break free, but was held even tighter.
Wei Shijin held the man’s shoulder with one hand, his five fingers spread out, seemingly casually, but with great force. He opened the stopwatch on his phone with one hand and said in a strong manner, “I’ll give you another choice, either you go by yourself or I carry you, you have thirty seconds to consider.”
The shell that Song Min had wrapped around himself finally cracked, and his true emotions leaked out, popping up everywhere. He grabbed Wei Shijin’s collar and pulled him down, “You fucking are really……”
